Minimum Viable Product
May 1, 2014
For the IDM22 Interface & Information Design project I wanted to adopt a lean, quick approach all round. After reading Jeff Gothelf’s excellent “Lean UX” book I realised that my product needed trimming down. It was very large, possibly cumbersome and from a prototype point of view, what was I actually testing? The main aim of Cyclo is to create a fun interactive audio environment with drag and drop behaviour so this is what I have decided to focus on.
This MVP approach helped me prioritise this core functionality and essentially get a prototype out there to see if it is viable. I intend to go from paper prototypes straight to a high fidelity, clickable prototype. I will outline the tools I use as I go along.
